Mario Party 10!

I LOVE the Mario Party series. Although I have to admit I missed out on Mario Party 9. But we got a Wii U because there are games I want to play and Wii U is backwards compatible! (which is really good for me!)

((By the way… from what I am hearing, all Xbox Ones are going to be like that too! You know how exciting that would be if that was to be true! I could play all of my Fable series again, and that would make my day! <3))

Anyways, while I am trying to find a good Skyward Sword price (seriously, it almost costs as much as a new game!) we decided to get a party game because my sister and my mom are coming to visit. Both me, my sister, and my husband like Mario games and Mario Party allows us all to play at the same time! (As well as Smash Bros, but we haven’t played a ‘Party’ game in a while so we thought this would be best.) So I was super excited because I have been wanting to play this for a while now!~

So tonight, my husband and I will be testing it out! I will let you know what I think when I get a chance. ;P

Game on!

Nerdy … but loving it!

I don’t know about y’all, but I like reading Manga as well. Well…

I found this AMAZINGLY AWESOME manga about a gamer like mindset in a magician type setting and… you just have to read it! It is right on, and I am highly enjoying it. They use gaming terms and mind set so it actually makes me rethink some of my playing strategies. Not kidding.

The comic is called “The Gamer”… I think. Yes, let’s go with that. Definitely worth a read!

The Gamer <- Go Here!

I would give a preview, but I am unsure about the rules about that. So instead:

Disappointed: Wha?

So, after getting so excited about the Enforcer thing on Elder Scrolls, I found out that they might not be releasing that PvP thing for others. What?

So… the information I found might not be relevant. They were thinking about doing it once upon a time, but have no plans at the moment to actually do it?

Bummmmmmmmmed.

Back to just normal leveling up and mastering that crafting thing.

Justice System in ESO!

I just found out about it, and I have to say: I AM STOKED. You have no idea. Usually I tend to not do much of the PvP stuff (even in Guild Wars…. *shrugs*), but for something like this, I might branch out of my comfort box to do it. Because the idea is quite exciting.

How did I start looking up the info?

Honestly, my husband had to talk to someone really quick, but he didn’t want to get kicked out of the server for Elder Scrolls Online due to inactivity, so he asked if I could walk about for him and what not. While doing so (and going to the bank to lighten his load) I came across the entry for Outlaw Refuges. I had NO idea what that meant or what it was for. My husband was aiming for a good character (like I do) and I didn’t want him to get a bad rep for going in, so I searched online – while trying to walk around.

During my search, I came across the Justice System information for ESO. This is AWESOME. Why? I want to do the Enforcer stuff! Gwah! How it breaks down:

(PS: Where I found all of this info.)

Now in Elder Scrolls, you will be punished for stealing things – where apparently they didn’t before? Anyways, when you steal something and you are caught, it raises your Reputation/Bounty. You try to steal without guards/others seeing (unless you avoid it completely like I do) but sometimes you get caught. And this raises the guard’s notice of you.

There are three levels of “Bounty”:
Disreputable – the lowest level. All guards will generally ignore you unless you approach them.
Notorious – You’ll be chased down by the guards, who enlist other guards to assist in the pursuit.
Fugitive – The highest level. Guards will always try to kill you. You need to wait until bounty goes down or you can try to find a way to “clean” your reputation.

Well, to balance those who steal, there are those who want to help get justice against the thieves: Enforcers.

That is what I am going to try to do!

Anyways, according to this info: “Becoming Enforcer is easy: you need to find one of Enforcer Towers (these towers are usually located near big cities) and talk with NPC there. After you declare yourself as Enforcer you will get a special tabard. Put it on and you will be able to see acts of crimes and bounty level of all players.”

That is not it~

How to stop criminal? Enforcer can attack criminal engaging him in PvP fight. If Enforcer wins he can loot corpse of his enemy player and take all stolen goods. These goods must be returned to one of Enforcer Towers. When Enforcer returns stolen goods he receives reward for that.

How sweet is that? But there’s MORE

Being Enforcer is not a boring duty: you can attack Outlaws and you also have access to special bandit caves. When you travel around the world you come across special clues that give you hints to location of bandit caves with chests and other objects. These chests are filled with stolen items. You can take these items and return to Tower getting reward in return.

I. LOVE. THIS. I am so going to do this! I am going to have to work on raising my level though so I don’t die against others, but unfortunately, it seems like everyone else has more time to play and level up than I do. (I should be trying right now, but I think the husband is getting on to play. I just have to wait.)

How cool is this system? Just adds another level of awesome and something to look forward to. Now I just have to find these Enforcer Towers to get my character ready….

Beware to all who try to steal! ;D

What side are you guys going to choose? Are you going to be an Enforcer?

Hours Went By…

Before I even realized it. I sat down around 10:00 PM with my husband’s blessing to start playing more of ESO. I was only on Level 3, and he wanted me to be able to experience it.

“It is really addicting,” he said. “I just kept playing and it takes you in,” he replied happily. I didn’t heed the warning.

It was about 2:41 AM before I realized how long I had been on. “Oh My Goodness!”

He came to the room and started laughing at me. “Is it really that late?” – me.

He then proceeded to tell me he told me so that you just get so into it. And there are so many quests… definitely amazing! He was so happy that I was playing so much. Did not bother him one bit.

Did I mention that I love this man? I played for hours, and he was happy to pop in once in a while to see my progress and see my reactions. He said he understood because he was the same way when he was playing it earlier. OMG I married the perfect man! *laughs* He would have been all for me continuing to play if I didn’t have to work this morning. ;P

But the main reason why I wrote this entry:
He recommended having some maps available so if I ever want to check to see if there are more quests in the area that I missed to have something to reference to. I found something that seems REALLY good.

Elder Scrolls Online Wiki FextraLife

This site seems pretty amazing already in regards to maps and such.
(It also links to the section I am in right now so I don’t have to look for the name again.)

Give it a shot. I am probably going to be hooked and playing again tonight… I wish I could post my character, but I’ll be good for now. Man, I am only a level 6! This is pretty epic. I usually level up in the beginning really easily in RPGs. The fact I am only a Level 6 is pretty amazing.

Next post I will probably talk about some of the choices I have made for my character, but for now – the game is awesome. Wait time to get in a server is Soooooo worth it.

PS: My current area because I need pictures!

Jumped Right In

That’s right. I did it. I jumped in and created a character on:

PS4 Version.

First off, let me say, I had not realized that I could link my Beta Account (for when they were having people Beta it for the PC… yeah, I did that…) to my PS4 Account! Not going to lie, I was super excited. I got to use my username and everything. Only thing is: Did not transfer character.

Best part: I DIDN’T CARE. Why? Because I would have deleted her if it did. ;P I wanted a whole new experience and a whole new character.

Probably the truth: The character probably didn’t transfer because how in the world could you transfer a PC Character to a console?

Since it was technically my husband’s game, he used the code to get all the free cool additions for pre-ordering.

But you want to know the most amazing part? I DON’T HAVE TO HAVE A PLAYSTATION PLUS ACCOUNT TO CONNECT ONLINE! I LOVE them for it! Yes, that is so worth yelling about. I was worried that I wouldn’t because most games require that online account to play multiplayer online. I know, that is the whole purpose of the game, which was why I was a bit worried. Another cool factor: you can chat easily. You don’t have to be in the party or whatnot but I do have one thing to say:

Mute your mic if you are doing something else. I don’t need to hear that you are switching through things on the PS4 Home screen. Seriously.

There was a bit of a wait time to log in, but come on, you have to expect it. Why? New release of a very popular game. Limited servers. DUH. Give them a break people who were complaining. The playing will die down and it will be easier. There is a reason for the madness.

But I like it so far. And my husband was skeptical when he started playing, but he likes it too. So now we have two games we can easily play together: Elder Scrolls Online and Guild Wars 2. Only downfall is that we only have one PS4. But this is great.

Now if I could only find a way to post my character so far on the game….

Oh, and I am having a slightly difficult time figuring out the controls in regards to quests and such. I will figure it out soon though – you know, the new game adjustments. You have to give it to the makers of the game: the controls are awesome. Being able to make a PC game to a PS4 game is hard enough. It almost seemed flawless and perfect. Thank you for your hard work guys. I am loving it.

I will admit I play the 3rd person view which is a bit odd because it puts things at a slight angle, but I can live with that. I’ll adjust eventually.

Oh, for those who want to possibly find me (For whatever odd reason) my user on there is Oyoa.

PS: Graphics are awesome.
